Water damage, Burlington,IA

SERVPRO of Burlington was called to this water damage after a pipe had burst in an apartment. The damage was limited to soaked carpeting and lower walls. The water had saturated the carpet throughout the apartment. We used a weighted extractor, which is shown in the after picture, to extract the excess water. After that was done we used axial air movers and a dehumidifier to help dry the walls and affected areas. Our crew also wiped down and removed any excess moisture on the furniture. Quick reaction prevented any mold from growing. The owner was very pleased with our work!
