SERVPRO of Burlington was called to a personal residence after their sump pump failed the previous night. There was a deluge of rain the night before that caused the water table level to rise which in turn led to the sump pump having to work over time to keep up which it couldn't. While these pictures show just the halllway their whole basement was affected. As you can see in the before picture the carpet is saturated with water. We used a weighted extractor to extract excess water. The after picture shows our axial air movers set up to begin the drying process.
