SERVPRO of Burlington was called to a personal residence after they experienced a fire and had significant smoke and soot damage throughout the home. This shelf was meticulously cleaned by our professional technicians in a multiple step process. First, they used a dry sponge to take off all the extra soot. Next, they liberally use a wood cream and then slightly buff it. Lastly, they use a furniture polish which helps to make it shine and will remove any soot that wasn’t taken off in the first two steps. Sometimes a multiple step cleaning process is necessary to ensure that all the soot is removed from the item and can be returned back to the way it looked before.
