This is the inside of a computer that was damaged in a house fire in Burlington, Iowa. The fire was started by a dryer within the home. Many people often assume that fire damaged technology and electronics are unsalvageable. However, we have the knowledge and equipment to properly clean electronic items such as this computer. SERVPRO technicians opened the computer in order to clean soot and deodorize. This cleaning involved thorough and detailed cleaning, but the end result was like brand new.
