Approximately 50% of business that experience a disaster will not recover from that event. Developing a preparedness plan can help your business to survive should you find yourself in an emergency. This is where we at SERVPRO of Burlington come in. We can come in and work with you to create an Emergency Ready Profile (ERP) at no cost you and it only takes a little bit of time for you. We will do a majority of the leg work for you! So, what does an ERP entail? SERVPRO professionals will come into your business and create a brief compilation of important information such as insurance company, where your gas and water shut off is, and who your emergency contact is etc. We also take photos of the water and gas shut off valves, utility box, and heating/cooling units. This will aid the responders and show them where those are located within the facility. The information is then saved to the business digitally and a hard copy to keep on hand. Being prepared is important!
