This is one of our marketers helping out on a busy week to clean up after a fire extinguisher malfunctioned and covered the business in extinguisher powder. He is using a HEPA vacuum to not only pick up the powder but also to keep it from being redistributed into the air and recontaminating.

SERVPRO of Burlington was called to a business who had experienced a downpour the night before which in turn led to water in their basement.

We used a moisture meter to determine if there was water behind the walls. Once this was determined we made the choice to cut out the drywall so we could thoroughly dry the inside of the walls with the help of industrial fans. This helps to prevent mold growth by drying it out thoroughly inside and out.

SERVPRO of Burlington was called to a nursing home after they experienced a fire in their laundry room. 

Shown in the photo is the process of using a dry sponge to wipe away any excess soot. The darkened part is from soot and the white is after we used a dry sponge. Once this process is done we then determine if wet washing or repainting is needed.
